hopefully we'll go back

a few quick shots from the night we went to the solstice celebration. we got there late unfortunately, but i'm hoping we'll go back so i can get better view of everything. but believe me, the sight of that stark pyramid against the natural surroundings is powerful at any time of day. the pyramid and tunnel leading up into it are not lit, so everyone was walking up with arms stretched out a cell phones open (and you can see all the dust in the air from my picture of the tunnel door). inside there was some sort of interpretive dance going on. sadly we didn't catch the entire performance, but it was really moving. and the other work (the one that looks like a big blue wave on the grass) yeah, i stood on top of it. it was awesome. i've been so blessed to see and do so many interesting things here!
